Our research aims to raise awareness, expose infractions, facilitate advocacy and encourage policy development.

Through our teams, fellows, and partners, we monitor, document, and report on the state of digital rights and inclusion in Africa. We produce Londa – our annual digital rights and inclusion in Africa report, policy briefs, case studies, toolkits, and other relevant research aimed at digital rights and inclusion protection.

We focus on diverse thematic areas such as data protection, freedom of expression online, media freedoms, internet access, the impact of health surveillance on human rights, digital inclusion, and infrastructure.
