Thobekile Matimbe serves as Senior Manager, Partnerships and Engagements at Paradigm Initiative (PIN), advancing digital rights and inclusion. She is a lawyer and researcher with civic engagement and human rights advocacy expertise. She is passionate about the promotion of human rights for all, online and offline. She has worked in private practice, the judiciary and several human rights organisations. She builds partnerships, manages regional projects and coordinates PIN engagements in several coalitions, networks and advocacy platforms. She is the 2018 Regional Advisory Board Secretary for the Mandela Washington Fellowship and Board Chairperson for Emthonjeni Women’s Forum, Zimbabwe.
