Early this year, we started a campaign known as #FacesofPIN through which we unveil team members, who work tirelessly to deliver on our projects and programs while ensuring we consistently impact lives. This way, we are able to share with you what they do, their inspiration, and lessons, among others.
In this edition we spoke to Mr. Adeboye Adegoke, and this is what he had to say:
What do you do for the organization?
I coordinate resource mobilisation efforts and lead on programs strategy at Paradigm Initiative.
What is your inspiration or what inspires you in life?
The desire to see change and make the world a better place.
What do you love about your job?
Ever evolving nature of the job and the visible impact it has on digital transformation.
What do you love about PIN?
It’s a cool place to work. The passion is strong. PIN is a family-friendly place to work and if you are profamily, you’d love it here.
What are some of the lessons you have learned over the years? (This could be regarding work or life).
Advocacy is a marathon, not a sprint. If you want to go fast, go alone, If you want to go far, do it with others. Co-ownership of process begets co-ownership of outcomes. Humility keeps you grounded. A business mindset and approach is a pre-requisite to success in any endeavor. Being a non-profit actor is not an excuse to be lazy and unimaginative.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Hang out and listen to music.
