Digital Rights Academy – Bulawayo, Zimbabwe

The two-day digital rights academy aims to enhance the digital security skills and knowledge of staff at the Human Rights Commission and Legal Aid, journalists, college and university students, young lawyers, and Civil society actors in Zimbabwe. These organisations are
meant to be the key point of call for digital rights protection and inclusion in Zimbabwe.

The overall goal of the project is to counter negative narratives about digital rights and freedom of speech and address power imbalances. The proposed academy aims to equip participants with essential tools and practices to protect their online presence.
